Sunshine. It was everywhere, drowning her in blinding rays of light. It warmed every fiber of her being; the only thing keeping her awake. The waves curled up onto the shore, lapping around her ankles before pulling back out to sea. The sand was hot beneath her back, her pale white skin tinged pink by the sun. The water pulled back back up and around her ankles again and she sighed. Someone's voice calling her reclaimed her from her half-conscious state and she stirred, dusting the sand off of her stomach before rising to stand. She stretched and yawned widely, sauntering lazily toward the fig
